Chuck Meyer

Chuck Meyer is the Program Director of 1290 The Source (now you know where to send your complaints.) He is also a morning news anchor on sister station KIIM-FM

Chuck is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. who spent some of his growing-up years in the Phoenix area, where he attended Glendale High. He's a graduate of Duquesne University and began working in radio shortly after Marconi invented the thing. He has previously worked in Seattle, Miami, Austin, and Cleveland.

Chuck is a news junkie and reads a lot. His iPod is heavy on Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine, and live Grateful Dead concerts. The music comes in handy on mountain bike rides and camping trips. Chuck is a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He has seen Chinatown about 75 times, and is on a first-name basis with every Starbucks server in metro Tucson.

Chuck's wife Carol is a local manager with Hyatt Corporation. Their daughter Andrea, a University of Texas graduate, works in NYC. Son Adam is a sous chef in Tucson. Chuck and Carol have a black lab, two cats, and an old Mercedes convertible that is in the shop more often than its in the driveway.
